Winners in my eyes

Rooney Mara - Givenchy Haute Couture

My top three looks of the evening. When I got a glimpse of Rooney, I was in love, yes I said it. She looked flawless. Michelle's peplum dress was high couture and Milla  looked devilishly divine. White was the sure thing at the Oscar's this year and I couldn't be happier, there is something special about white gowns that just tickles my heart. I want them all, can someone tell me where I can find them? ha-ha.

P.s. do not forget to come to the IT Girl Expo for this Wednesday or Thursday or both! I will be there both days so come on and say hello. For more details see this post here.

 endless trays of delightfulness

This weekend was my mother's birthday and I wanted her to have a fun-filled day. We had lunch, and later in the evening we headed over to a Greek Festival at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church. We had a great time, ofcourse there was delicious food and delicious desserts. Here you can find some of the photos I snapped during our experience. The best part of the festival was the traditional greek dancing, where everyone was invited to learn and participate. I hope you had a great week and weekend, until next time.

24 February, 2012

my favorite, the beetle is actually a pendant on a necklace. I am getting that beetle!

Nothing makes me happier than volumes of jewelry! (ok not really the happiestm but close) I get that from my grandmother, I love to drape myself with accessories and the more the better for me. These are some of the arm fiestas I am currently envying, want to have all of them...my birthday is around the corner ;). Just wanted to give you something to inspire you this weekend, because c'mon we all know the weekend starts on Friday. Pair your arm fiesta with a cocktail, a fiesta indeed!

blurry me, but I love this photo with the deer.

I had an eventful few days, and it is nice to just have a relaxing sunday, here are a few of the things that had me entertained this week and weekend. The highlight of the week was Art Wynwood VIP preview event on thursday, which I attended. Tomorrow will be the last day for the International Contemporary Art Festival and if you haven't gone, I suggest you do! it showcases art from local artists and from around the world, very impressive collection of art gathered in one place. I had a fabulous time, my obsession was these art installations of deers in a forest that were located all around the exhibition each with a different color vibe and theme. What are you waiting for, go and check it out for yourselves. Have fun :)

check out the rest of the photos from Art Wynwood on my facebook page here.

12 February, 2012

brunch with a few of my fav gals a few weekends ago and I met a lovely new gal who evidently has her own blog as well! follow her here.

It has been a while since I post one of my On my mind...but here it is people! I hope you enjoy my photos as much I enjoy them myself. There is something very special about having memories to look back on and documenting events from small to large are one of my favorite things to do. Photos are a way to remember what you have done, accomplished, where you have been, and possibly make you think of where to go next to capture your next set of memories. One of the things I like to do is always take a picture of something I ate that I absolutely loved, as well as the menu with the restaurant name and the name of the plate so that I never forget it (I do this even more so when I am traveling, so I remember where I ate and what) it is a fun way to keep up with all your foodie adventures. I leave you now, may you go on and snap your own memories.
