Absolutely Top, Leslle Danzls necklace (Gilt), Asos Watch, Bracelets: Cre, Lynn's Bracelets, Vintage Brass cuff (ebay), Public Frenemy (etsy), Karen Walker Sunnies, Mikkat Market crepe pants, Steve Madden wedges

This was my Sunday dressing, where I met up with some friends to celebrate my amigita Michelle's birthday somewhere in North Bay Village. We got to chat for a bit, sip some fruity rum drink and hear the waves crashing in. I love water and nothing makes me happier than to hear the ocean, so relaxing and takes me to a far far away land. Tomorrow I am looking forward to the Fashion Bloggers Do It Better hosted by Annie Vazquez of The Fashion Poet, Eugy and Simonett of The Goodwill Project where Miami bloggers get to mingle, shop, and take on some cocktails...you should come, it will be fun. For more details click on the event right above.

P.s. my doggie made a very sneaky cameo in one of the photos ;).

my first outfit post ever! I couldn't be more excited as I have been waiting to do this for quite some time. I can't wait for all of you to see more of my outfits, which I hope you enjoy as much as I do putting them together. This was a Saturday outfit and I fit in just fine as all of you Miamians know that WMC and Ultra 2012 were the events of the weekend. Neon and bright colors were every where in Miami and well I had to pay homage to that even though I am not a fan of Ultra. You will see more of this outfit from Miss Trish Shoes designer meet and greet event that took place in Nordstrom at Dadeland Mall. Miss Trish shoes are colorful and so fun, they are a perfect fit for us Miami girls, I know you are going to love them. I hope you liked my first outfit post and hope to hear some feedback from all of you.

P.s. don't I fit right in with the water pipes or whatever they are, I felt like an extension of them.

I know you may be thinking, why in the world is she giving us a report of what's going to be hot this fall, I was just excited to share what is to come. I love what we shall look forward to in fall, very muted colors and full of edgy sophisticated looks, which if you all shall know is in line with my style. I gave you two of my favorite looks for each category, what I am must excited about is the white. White is in in fall people, toss out that no white after labor day stuff that's for the ruins of old customs. There you have it, hope you can see the future now.

Happy Weekend!

On my mind...

18 March, 2012

at the Lucky Clover for some early St. Patty's day festivities

This was a semi-relaxed week and the weekend filled with fun activities. One of them being St. Patty's day block parties all over Brickell. I had a party later in the evening (well I had three celebrations happening at once) that yesterday and coming back home was a bit of a nightmare as the streets were crowded with green attired people. None the less it was fun and I love having parties all around me! what can I say I am a city girl. On a side note, I keep insisting on this...please do not get it on in June, too many birthdays in March!

Hope you enjoyed yourselves yesterday, may your bellies be filled with green beer! adios people.

chocolate french toasts from GreenStreet Cafe

This week was filled with fun activities by Saturday I was already exhausted but I can't complain life is good! I spent all day Saturday lounging and relaxing, maybe too much relaxation. None the less I feel rested today and I look forward to another hectic week with a few events here and there. I must say everyone gets busy in June, why you ask?! because half of the people I know where burn in March and the amount of birthdays I have had to celebrate has been insane. How about we spread out our love to other months, let me have a rest please...me kidding, or not! Hope you had a successful week/end and that your provisions were nice, warm and enjoyable.

Cravings

10 March, 2012

 chicken Street Tacos

I guess you can say I woke up with an appetite, but when don't I. I will forever be a hungry girl, a food addict by all means (yes Dominiece I openly admitted it). Adventure for me is seeking the next new dish that I can dig my teeth into and so these here are few of the new things I found on Pinterest that I want to try making myself, especially the Spicy Chocolate Mousse Crepes {divine}. They are all simple foods with one or two ingredients that make them special and out of this world, and that's what I love must simple food with star ingredients. Keep tuned for one soon, it's a coming, I know it's long over due.
Do you have any cravings of your own?

Enjoy your Saturday eatery experiences.

On my mind...IT Girl Expo

04 March, 2012

Myself, Lizmarys, Annie Vazquez, Susset Cabrera, and Maria Tettamanti

The IT Girl Expo held on February 29 and March 1, 2012 was so much fun, I had the opportunity to connect and meet fellow Miami bloggers like Miss Mean Shoe (pictured center left), The Fashion Poet (pictured at center), Miami Beats and Sazon (pictured center right), The Wordy Girl (pictured far right), amongst others not pictured like Go Live Miami, The Goodwill Project, Living In Color Print, Ria Michelle, Kelly's Kloset and Pink Guayoyo to name a few. The best part of the event was just that meeting other fashion enthusiasts like myself that are trying to place Miami on the fashion bloggersphere, because we want everyone to know that Miami has some serious style. There was so many goodies, from cupcakes, jewelry to makeup products that I had to glue my wallet to my bag! Here are some of the photos that show just how much fun the it was. Hope you had a great weekend, until next time!
