|Brands x Stores I Love| Style Mafia

In this second installation of "Brands x Stores I love" I feature Style Mafia, a brand that provides you with a mix of high-low fashion by incorporating high designs with low price points so that all of you can enjoy. The mastermind behind the brand is a friend of mine, which we met through the blogging world. She started her blog around the same time as I did and ended up always finding each other at events, but then again the Miami Blogging/Fashion scene is small so you are bound to round into each other always and eventually create friendships. Simonett, the Co-founder and Creative Director for Style Mafia is one of those people you never forget, very driven, passionate and humble. She has been able to reach such amazing goals at such a young age, and that is why I am so happy to be showcasing this brand to you. The designs are very downtown cool and extremely street style worthy, just look at this lookbook how stunning it is. If you live in the Miami area, you can also visit her showroom which is located in the arts and fashion scene known as Wynwood. I can not wait to get to Miami in December to be able to peruse the racks at the showroom, stay tuned for my visit on Instagram.

Gilt Miami Warehouse Sale x Infiniti Q50 Launch Event

The Gilt City Warehouse sale in Miami is upon us again, this is one of those sales that you will not want to miss, trust. If you are one to get a trill when finding designer labels at huge discounted prices or just love designer labels period, then you will want to go to this sale. I have a severe obsession with Gilt, it's really bad, I check the Gilt app on my phone probably twice a day, no I am not joking. It is so addicting, I have been able to find really amazing pieces at ridiculous prices, like my 3.1 Phillip Lim shorts (see Here) that sadly got ruined on my move to Germany and had to throw them out, I almost cried. The most recent purchase was my wedding day shoes, I was able to score designer shoes for a decent price, a little more than half the retail price, so I was very excited for that. I can go on and on as to what I have purchased from Gilt, but I will not, all I will tell you is that you should really try to make it out. They will also be showcasing the new Infinit Q50, including an exclusive sneak peek at a one-of-a-kind cars tailored by Zac Posen and Thom Browne.

Get Beautified for a Cause

My wonderful and talented friend Sandy Lee of Sandy Lee Artistry will be blow drying hair to raise funds for those in need of assistance in the Philippines. What an amazing idea and such a good way to be able to assist those in major need of everything in the Philippines. They have suffered an awful catastrophe, they need all the help they can get, what better way then to primp up and feel good both inside and out. Pistol Western meets City Chic

 It's been two weeks since I post anything on the blog, I do apologize, I've faced some unexpected circumstances that have kept me from posting. This is one of a few posts that I had hoped to have posted sooner, but no matter, here it is now. This was my favorite look that Sandy and I did together, she did such an amazing job with my make-up and hair that she made me look close to a model as I can ever be. I love to wear black, I try to do a pop of color once in a while to change it up a bit and keep it interesting, as I did here with these pumps that I love so much. These pumps are so different, very edgy and very hot, something that I love to do with my shoes, I almost always want my shoes to stand out in any outfit. I can no longer wear these shoes as the temperatures keep dropping quickly here Frankfurt and they wont see the light of day until Spring or Summer.
