Don't you have days were you just want to break the cycle of having the same old things for dinner, snacks or desserts? Well I am here to help you break that cycle, the best part about it is that it is super easy and so delicious. I got this recipe idea from my honeymoon trip, where I had two stops in Greece. When we were in Katakolon, a seaside town where Olympia is situated, we stopped for lunch, and my husband just wanted to have something light, so he went for the Greek yogurt on the menu, when it came out it looked so decadent without being overly done. It was simple, yet it was one of the best things I've had (that's only because I stole a few scoops from him). So I knew that I wanted to recreate it once I got back home, because I just had to have it again, and again. I've already made it like six times and I still can't get bored of it.
So next time you have people over, just whip this up in 5 minutes and they will be thankful for it, because not only does it taste good, it is good for you. Kiwi has many helpful properties, it helps with your digestive system, is high in fiber and it eliminates toxin (that's just to name a few). Grapes are good for protection against cancer, anti-aging, and high in antioxidants. Greek yogurt does the same, good for your digestive system due to its probiotics, is high in protein and a good source of vitamins B6 and B12. Honey has antibacterial properties and is a good source for antioxidants (in moderation of course, because it is still a sugar after all).
| Ingredients |
2 cups of Greek Yogurt
1 table spoon of Honey
2 Kiwis
16 Green Grapes
| Instructions | Serving 2
Peel kiwis, slice them in halves, separate evenly pieces for each cup
Slice grapes in half, separate 16 half pieces for each cup
Place kiwis and grapes in cups, leaving 4 pieces of each fruit for garnish
Pour yogurt into cups, then drizzle half of the 1 tablespoon of honey in one cup and the other half for the other cup
Garnish the yogurt with the leftover fruits (as seen on second to last photo)
Your done!
* This is for 2 servings, so if you need to make more just do equal amounts of all ingredients.
