I had this little project brewing in my head for a few months and actually was the original theme Karla and I's collaboration (see what we did here) but ended up not working out at the time but I still wanted to do it. My plan was to have it out before the remake of one of my ultimate favorite books-turned-movies The Great Gatsby, I was obsessed since the day I read the book back in grade school. Not only was the story so divine but it depicted a romance during my ultimate favorite era, the 1920s. I live and breath for that time in history, mostly because well the way women and men would dress was decadent and extravagant. When I saw that The Great Gatsby was going to be remade, I instantly thought of this post and viola- here it is. I had a different location I wanted to shoot in but time and energy where not on my side, so I decided to make the best of it and shoot around my neighborhood.
I am getting back in the groove of posting outfits, I know it's been lacking but I got you people, you will be getting a few more before I cross the pond over to Germany.

1 Year Anniversary x 4th Giveaway
30 October, 2012
Jumpsuit: Ramona La Rue c/o Shop Miami Style| Necklace: David Aubrey (via ideeli)| Bracelets: Forever 21, Vintage, BaubleBar, Kenneth Jay Lane (via Gilt)| Shoes: Elizabeth and James
A leopard of the Concrete Jungle, is there such a thing?
Her stare is unwavered
from all the bustling
noise around her, after all she is stalking on her prey. Not a single movement goes unnoticed, as she
calculates her every move. The leopard pounces as others stare her down, what’s
the reason for her hunt they ponder. It’s the Barney’s warehouse sale at the
corner of 8th Ave she says.
Yes I just made up a story of myself as a leopard, hey I have a big imagination. As crazy as it is, I hope you enjoyed it because after all don't we all relate? that's how we really are during a big sale. Anyway, today marks the last giveaway of my 1 year anniversary celebration.
