Vintage LOVE

28 January, 2015

I think by now most of my close friends and family know the love, deep, deep love I have for vintage pieces, what can I say I am a nostalgic kid. I always find that vintage pieces just hold something so special, more so when they are designer pieces. I get a thrill when I go hunting for vintage, it is one of my absolute favorite things to do. Take me to a good flea market, and I will feel more excited then if you were to tell me we were going to a Prada store, and I am not joking. Some of you are probably wide-eye right now, and I would be too, but I guess everyone has a thrill and you already know mine. This vintage Gucci find was hard to find, it took me several months to find the right one, I scavenged the web for it until my eyes fell off.

I will tell you why I wanted a Gucci bag with the small logo print and stripes on it, because my mother had one in the 80s and I don't know what in the world she did with it and ever since I saw that picture of her with that bag, my obsession grew. If you don't know me by now, what you don't know is that once I get something in my head, I will not stop until I get it, even if it takes me months and years to find. And so I did and now I am happy that I rekindled with it because it had been tucked away in my closet.
