| MBFW Berlin A/W 2016 | Look 5

05 February, 2016

This was my last look during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, I wanted to keep it a bit more comfortable so I wore jeans, though, I had intended to wear cream colored pants with this look but in the end I went for my jeans. I surprisingly was not as cold on the upper part of my body, but my legs were freezing. The pictures were shot with my iPhone so I apologize for the poor quality, I got to lazy to run around with my camera, so I used my phone for all the pictures during MBFWB. If you want to shop my look, see below and remember to scroll through, I always put three different price points for all budgets.

Black x White Stripes

13 January, 2016

Simple outfits are my go-to for everyday life, they are fail-proof and usually comfortable but they don't compromise style. This one is a perfect example of that, simple and comfortable but by adding the right accessories they elevate it to the level of chic and ya'll know I love the word chic! On a regular basis I just stick to black and white because it's so easy but you always look good in those colors no matter what, plus it looks good with my new hair color, don't you think?

On a side note, winter is really getting to me, I am longing for just a few degrees warmer so all I have to wear is a light sweater or a light jacket but for now I'll enjoy my new favorite faux fur coat I snagged in the ZARA sale. Oh and I am so obsessed with my new customized Adidas mi Superstar 80s that come with my initials and all, you can customize your own HERE.

Christmas at home

12 January, 2016

Christmas at home this year was probably our favorite one since we moved to Germany and it was all due in part that we had family staying with us and spending the holidays with us. Being away from family during these times are the hardest and although the husband and I do a pretty good job at not getting ourselves sad about it, we still miss the ones we love. Since I knew I was going to have family over, I wanted to make it extra special and cozy for them, so I decided to go with the traditional red, white and silver as the theme colors and elements of wood because that is what I always think of when I think of Christmas. I added details that would make anyone just want to stay at home covered in blankets and drinking warm tea or hot chocolate. I think I pretty much accomplished that feel, my mother-in-law did not want to move from the couch! I also did a Photo Booth backdrop for fun memories to keep.

I DIYed the three big trees mantled atop the wood slabs (that I got from a tree that was being cut down behind my building!) and as you know I also DIYed my Door Wreath (see HERE).

What do you think of my decor? What were your color themes?

Poncho Life

23 April, 2015

Hey there, it's been a while since I post any outfit looks, I have been on such a slump these days, it's so hard to get your booty out of it. Slowly I will be getting back in the rhythm of things, it's been a pretty busy start of the year, with many traveling adventures that although I am not complaining one bit, it starts to take a toll on you, it slows you down on the everyday life. Luckily though, the weather in Frankfurt has been so nice that I really shouldn't feel all dull, it has been sunny, affording you to go out of the house with just a cozy poncho and light knits, which is about my favorite type of dressing.

On another note, my birthday is just a few weeks away and I just found out I am not turning 33, but 32 (LOL), yes I thought I was turning 33, after 30 I swear I can't keep track of my age, it's the weirdest thing ever. Do any of you 30 and fabulous ladies go through the same thing? please tell me I am not alone?

Over The Knee

07 October, 2014

Fall has easily become one of my favorite seasons, only because I get to experiment with layers. I have said it before layering is not easy, especially when you want it to look effortlessly cool but it is fun. Although in this look I am not wearing many layers, I really love this look only because it is sexy in a subtle way and you can take it from day to night in an instant by just tweaking a few things, heck you can even go without making any changes and it would still look good for a night out. I wore this same outfit to go to my friend's dinner party but I added black tights to give it a more sophisticated look. Plus wearing over the knee boots has always been one of my favorite looks for fall, I have been obsessed with over the knee boots since I was a tiny girl, and my love has never dwindled, I find them to be one of the sexiest forms of shoes/boots a woman can have in her closet. I also love this crop top for its soft textile, which makes for a comfy fit and who doesn't love comfy wear?

What is your favorite fall shoe style?

Until Next Time Summer

23 September, 2014

So I had mentioned on my last outfit post that it was going to be my last summer look, I lied. I only lied because I had no idea that we would actually get a few more days of warm weather. The weather in Frankfurt has been so moody lately that it's hard to determine what you are going to have to wear on any given day. To say the least, I was very happy to feel the sun rays on my skin, I am a sun worshiper. On another note, I have lately been loving this summer straw hat I found in the oddest of places...Zara Home, yes that is correct, they sell some clothes (mostly sleepwear and house shoes), but I found this cute little hat that I knew would be perfect to take along with me to my honeymoon and it was only eight euros (win). So goodbye to summer I say, until I see you again.
