The Rebound Look

28 December, 2016

The Rebound Look

I call this the rebound look because I am back to my old self and I couldn't be happier, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed being pregnant for most of the time but on occasion I would have my days where I felt desperate to give birth, so I can hold my baby girl in my arms and fit into my regular jean, what pregnant girl doesn't dream of that, am I right? Not only do you want to fit into your old jeans, you also want to fit into any regular shoe, even more so one with some heel on it, because towards the end of your pregnancy you end up having just one pair of shoe that fit your swollen feet. Luckily for me, I found these leopard print beauties through Octer, a new site that has many of our favorite brands in one place. If you are like me and love to browse the Internet for what is new and fresh but hate to be going from one website to the next, then Octer is for you, they make it easy to find exactly what you were looking for right in one place. I found so many things I wanted but I ended up settling for this pair of heels because I knew they had the right amount of sexy but still comfy enough to keep me from hitting the floor, after all, 9 months have passed since I wear any heels.

P.s. I am so obsessed with my new bell sleeve top, I practically want to wear it in my sleep, yes crazy alert but hey give this mama a break, she is just happy to be wearing normal clothes.

Black x White Stripes

13 January, 2016

Simple outfits are my go-to for everyday life, they are fail-proof and usually comfortable but they don't compromise style. This one is a perfect example of that, simple and comfortable but by adding the right accessories they elevate it to the level of chic and ya'll know I love the word chic! On a regular basis I just stick to black and white because it's so easy but you always look good in those colors no matter what, plus it looks good with my new hair color, don't you think?

On a side note, winter is really getting to me, I am longing for just a few degrees warmer so all I have to wear is a light sweater or a light jacket but for now I'll enjoy my new favorite faux fur coat I snagged in the ZARA sale. Oh and I am so obsessed with my new customized Adidas mi Superstar 80s that come with my initials and all, you can customize your own HERE

| Chic Edit | Earth Tones

23 July, 2014

I can't help to always think ahead when it comes to style and fashion; So naturally, I am already thinking of how I will spruce up my pre-fall wardrobe, you know that time of year where it's not really summer but it's not really fall just yet, where the heat comes and goes and you find yourself either too hot or a little bit chilly. Now living in Germany, I know all about that in-between time, because in Miami there really isn't an in-between, the sun just shines on forever. Therefore, I have to look for creative ways to keep cool and slightly warm. These earth tones have really been speaking to me lately and these are my top favorites, more specifically those amazing, to-die-for United Nude heels that I have been drooling over for about three months now and although they are on sale, I still can't buy them (sad face). So in the mean time, I will just stare at the edit and dream of having everything on this list in my closet.

|Classic Bags| The Carryall

17 March, 2014

We all look for that bag that will carry all our lives in, because women just feel so much more secure knowing that if anything were to arise at a whim, we would be more than prepared. I for one have always been the carryall bag kinda girl, only until a few years back that I also became the small/mini bag girl who tried to see what she can do without (which you will be discussed further in Friday's post). Now that I live in Germany I have retracted to my old days were all I have on my mind is finding that perfect classic carryall bag that will not only provide me with some serious chicness but will also withstand the test of time. My husband asked me if I had one bag to pick that I would use day in day out, which one would it be, and it got me thinking, so much so that the reason for this post was to narrow down my own search and come up with extremely good contenders, it was not an easy task, because there really is amazing classics out there. These are the five top bags that I would love to have in my closet, even if I only get to have one of these, I would be content.

What do you think of my choice? and do you have your own "IT" classic carryall that you would want or just can't live without?

this is one of my go-to outfits, it is fail-proof and extra chic. I feel very sexy and confident when I wear this outfit, but the best part about it is that you can wear it two ways. The FIRST look is business, the look you want to have when you go to an important meeting, a conference or even if you are conducting a presentation. You will demand attention, but most importantly you will provide your audience with a fresh and vibrant outlook. The SECOND look is self-explanatory, it's all about providing you with a fun and flirty feel, because happy-hour is all about having fun and for those of you looking for someone to mingle that's when the flirty comes in. I love these two looks so very much for the versatility and the unexpected sex appeal.

pain, sweat and nightmares are just what I feel like I am going through, ever since we started planning our wedding, I have been on a strict budget with little room to shop. No shopping for a blogger is plain tragic, you feel like you are falling behind, slipping through the cracks of irrelevance. So in order to keep my style sanity in check, I search the web for inspiration and what I would buy if I could at all. Here are a few of the things I have my eyes on and wishing they were hanging in my closet or on my vanity.  Who doesn't want a winking eye bag or a stunning lucite minaudiere or those sexy floral pants on the top right corner, or even those red hot tamales of sandals? all these little numbers are perfect for endless summer days and nights. I have also been dying to try the Rodin luxury face oil that I have heard rave reviews about but I am having a hard time dishing out that kind of money for a small bottle of goodness...but I am hoping I come around to buying it before summer ends.

Needs and Wants: Jewelry

25 September, 2012

don't we all feel like we need and want everything? I know I do. I always feel like I need to have what ever it is I am obsessing over at the moment (which is quite a lot of stuff) but those pesky green bills get in the way of getting everything. Maybe sometimes it's a good thing you can't get everything because well life would just be plain boring. I need the thrill of the hunt and the aching pain of not being able to hold something in my hands. Here are a few of the things I want to hold, kiss and love...yes I feel that sorta passion.
