| Post-Wedding Week Series | The Main Event (Part II Final)

23 May, 2014

This is it, the last bits and pieces of this series for you to look at. I hope you have enjoyed it and that it has helped you somewhat give you ideas of what to expect, what kind of wedding you would like to have and where you can find supplies and decor for your special day. I am thankful to have been able to have a wedding, a day that all girls always dream of having. My husband made this day happen for me, with a little extra help of family and friends. We are so grateful for our parents, bridal party, family and friends that made this day so meaningful without your help and support it would not have been so special.

I also would like to thank all of our vendors, most of all of you are friends that we have known for years, making it an even more pleasant experience as you were as much part of our day as any of our guests.

Now the fun beginnings...The Married Life.

| Post-Wedding Week Series | The Main Event (Part I)

Part I of the last post of the Wedding Week Series. This is the main event, where you get a really good look at the details and sequence of our unforgettable day. My most memorable part was certainly the ceremony, it was exactly what I had dreamed off, the only one thing that I had hoped for was, to have our ceremony during daylight but there were delays along the way that held us back a little and caused us to catch the sunset and nightfall. Regardless of that minor setback, the ceremony was like walking on clouds, I thank our officiant who is one of my most dearest friends and not to mention my soul sister - Betty (we come from the same planet, at least that's what they told us). She made our ceremony so magical and full of personal touches, everything she recited came from her heart as she wrote the script just for us. I could not have picked anyone else to marry us, Betty has one of the most sincerest hearts I know and because of that the vibes were honest and pure.

The dances were also one of my favorite parts, although I and I am sure that my husband, fathers and his mom were also a bit nervous. Dancing in front of a crowd when all eyes are on you is a bit nerving, but none the less special. I still can't get over how good our bridal party looked, from my MOHS, bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girls and ring boy they all looked like magazine models, yes a little brag doesn't hurt.

I also have to thank my mother-in-law who took it upon herself to make and set up the ceremony flower arrangements and lanterns, she spent lots of time looking out for the lanterns in different stores and was able to find them all. She did such a stunning job, I was speechless when I saw what she had done.

| Post-Wedding Week Series | The Groom x Groomsmen Wear

19 May, 2014

Today I resume the Post-Wedding Week coverage, this past few days have been hectic with having family over from the States, my schedule always gets a bit complicated. There are only a few posts left of this series, today's post features the gentlemen's wardrobe of that special day, most important the handsome groom (wink). They all wore light grey suits, with white crisp dress shirts, black dress shoes and rose pink bow ties. The groom's bow tie was a dusty rose, something to make him look a little different then his groomsmen. The groomsmen boutonnieres were light pink garden rose and baby breaths, while the Groom's was a white orchid and baby breaths. All groomsmen bought their suits separately, which began to look like a mission impossible but somehow they all found suits that went perfectly together.

Didn't they look so handsome? and did you see our ring boy looking just like the big boys? so adorable.

| Post-Wedding Week Series | The Preparation

07 May, 2014

The preparation for the big day is less stressful then we all brides tend to believe. I always anticipated this time with most caution, not because I didn't look forward to it, but because having a room filled with tons of women is no easy feat. Lets face it, we take a long time to get ready, even more so for such a special day. You have to have a schedule with appointments for each of the girls, including yourself to get the hair and makeup done at a reasonable time, and having a large bridal party is even more of a challenge, but fun none the less. To overcome this madness, I had to hire people who were understanding and flexible. I am very fortunate to have family and friends with an array of talents and professions, who were able to accommodate my needs. I employed my sister-in-law Genesis Sensat (not to mention that she was also one of my bridesmaid) and her assistant to do our makeups, as makeup is her profession, I also employed my good friend Sandy Lee Alvarez (who is my hair stylist and lives in Germany with me) as our hair stylist. The preparation was probably one of my favorite moments of our wedding, because I was able to relax and enjoy the time with my bridal party.

Thank you Genesis, her assistant and Sandy for working so patiently and non-stop to make us all look so beautiful, you guys rock. To my mother, mother-in-law, MOHS and Bridesmaids, thank you for being by my side during that time, as it made it that much more special, I love guys.

Ana + Danny Wedding Trailer from Love Squared Weddings on Vimeo.

This week I will cover my Post-Wedding series which will give you a glimpse of how and what our special day looked like. Today you get to look at the recap version of my wedding video, we loved the way the video came out, it captured so many beautiful moments, I love how you can look back at things and see certain things that you missed or failed to see the day of your wedding. So many things are happening all at once, not to mention so many emotions and thoughts are going through your head that sometimes the smallest of details are overlooked. Videos and photos allow you to be able to see all those missed moments, as well as to relive the moments you experienced yourselves. Next up will be photos of the wedding day preparations.

Hope you enjoy the video x special thanks to our friend C.R. Sten for capturing all these moments.
