what I wore the day one of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim and Funkshion Week. I had a couple of events as seen here and I wanted to have a day to night look because I would spend the whole day at the SOHO Beach House. One of my favorite dresses I have, I love white and what I adore more is a white dress. Whether it be a simple beach cover up dress, a maxi, or a cocktail one, white always looks good on any woman.

That pouch you see on my midriff is just the style of the dress, thank you.

oh you know those casual days that all you want to be wearing is something comfy, light and comfortable. That seems to be the theme for most of us here in South Florida where humidity and heat are not our friends. This was my outfit for my outing with my fellow blogger friend Kristin (see yesterday's post to where we went to eat here), we decided that after eating we would walk around Miracle Mile since she had never been down to this area. It wasn't as exciting as we hoped, she wanted to shop around the boutiques but most of them were closed. I did though get to go to a boutique I had been eyeing for a while and never had the chance to go to My Best Friend's Closet Boutique, they have great stuff and their price range varies so there is something for everyone. I bought a beautiful bracelet that I cannot decide whether to keep for myself or give it as a gift for Christmas (yes I start collecting gifts as early as July). It was a fun-filled day regardless of the heat and can't wait to do it again.

At Dusk

I wore this little number to my 10 year high school reunion which took place at Club 50 in the Viceroy Hotel. Maybe not the best "club" outfit at least for Miami standards but I loved it and I was very happy to be wearing that beautiful BCBG pleated skirt. Now on to a similar subject, that colorblock top has probably been one of my best purchases. It has been more versatile than I ever thought and it has classic colors. Note to oneself, purchase things that can be worn mutiple times without looking like the same piece of clothing...in other words purchase a chameleon, get it? haha only I get my jokes. I had a great time, although I missed a couple of people either they were there too early or I got there too late. I still managed to have a great time and I saw some people I had not seen in a while, including a dear Track teammate who I hold dearly to my heart, Kinsland. My how times fly and I don't even want to think of our 20 year reunion, yikes.
