The Rebound Look

I call this the rebound look because I am back to my old self and I couldn't be happier, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed being pregnant for most of the time but on occasion I would have my days where I felt desperate to give birth, so I can hold my baby girl in my arms and fit into my regular jean, what pregnant girl doesn't dream of that, am I right? Not only do you want to fit into your old jeans, you also want to fit into any regular shoe, even more so one with some heel on it, because towards the end of your pregnancy you end up having just one pair of shoe that fit your swollen feet. Luckily for me, I found these leopard print beauties through Octer, a new site that has many of our favorite brands in one place. I found so many things I wanted but I ended up settling for this pair of heels because I knew they had the right amount of sexy but still comfy enough to keep me from hitting the floor, after all, 9 months have passed since I wear any heels. 

P.s. I am so obsessed with my new bell sleeve top, I practically want to wear it in my sleep, yes crazy alert but hey give this mama a break, she is just happy to be wearing normal clothes.

Checkered in Milan

During my time in Milan, I forced had my friend Sandy be my photographer and capture my outfit of that day. I had a pretty interesting time posing for these, only because I chose this street as it was empty but at all of a sudden it became filled with people and well, I had to just go with it, but I think it played out well. Not only did it capture the essence of Italian life, it captured a Robert De Niro look-a-like to my left, that could have easily fooled me, because he was looking pretty darn cool, especially with his fabulous lady next to him.  What do you think? does the man look like De Niro or what? I mean, he even has that half smirk that De Niro is infamous for.

On a side note, this was one of my comfiest and funnest outfits I wore during my trip in Italy, those combat boots were my obsession.

Do you ever have days where you need to wear something that will take you from day to night? I have had several days where I need to transition smoothly and because of it, I have developed a seamless process as to how I choose my clothes for that day. It really is easy, you have to pick out items that feel and look luxuries yet have an element of casualness that will allow you to not look overdone during the day. Therefore, I try to have transformation or two-way pieces in my closet, because those are the best for scenarios as such. Take the coat I am wearing for example, it gives me two complete different looks by just removing on piece from it, and that is the faux fur. Make no mistake you can and should wear the faux fur piece during the day as well, if your anything like me, you wouldn't mind. Sometimes though, you want to give the appearance that you changed into a completely different look, without actually having done so. That is what I did here for you, so you can see how you can carry one look from day to night by adding four different things.
