Striped

01 October, 2015

Fall is here already, and although I love knee-high boot season, I will always prefer summer above anything else. But I no longer have eternal summers at my disposal (when in Miami), so I have to just let it go and embrace it. Luckily for me these past few days here in Frankfurt, have been my dream, sunny, yet crisp cool air kinda weather, it's how I wish all fall and winter was like. I have mentioned it time and again, I am a sun child, nothing makes me happier then seeing the sun, so these days I have truly been enjoying them even though I was nursing a cold for part of them. This past Sunday I was no longer going to let pj's, sniffles and the confinement of our apartment get the best of me, I needed fresh air, so I put on my Sunday best and went for a stroll with the bae.

Checkered in Milan

09 September, 2015

During my time in Milan, I forced had my friend Sandy be my photographer and capture my outfit of that day. I had a pretty interesting time posing for these, only because I chose this street as it was empty but at all of a sudden it became filled with people and well, I had to just go with it, but I think it played out well. Not only did it capture the essence of Italian life, it captured a Robert De Niro look-a-like to my left, that could have easily fooled me, because he was looking pretty darn cool, especially with his fabulous lady next to him.  What do you think? does the man look like De Niro or what? I mean, he even has that half smirk that De Niro is infamous for.

On a side note, this was one of my comfiest and funnest outfits I wore during my trip in Italy, those combat boots were my obsession.

A White Vest

06 August, 2012

Top: Express// Vest, Jeans & Bag: Zara// Sunnies: Furor Moda// Shoes: Sole Society

a vest, especially a white one is one you must have in your closet. A good vest can transform an otherwise simple outfit, it will provide a sophisticated edgy look. I have a feeling this vest is going to exhaust itself, I want to wear it with so many different looks. The best part about vests is that they are good year round, wear them with tanks, short-sleeves, long-sleeves and even over a jacket. Get a vest in a neutral color so that you can pair it with many items and can give you versatility. White is one of my colors and so I had been looking for a white vest for quite some time, when I found this one I was delighted and now I want to wear it all the time.

Hope you had a great weekend and have a fantastic week. Any of you keeping up with the Olympics 2012? if so, what is your favorite sport to watch?

What I Wore Day 2

26 July, 2012

Top: Express (old)// Necklaces: Vintage (etsy)// Bag: BCBG// Skirt: Zara// Shoes: Boutique 9

my second day was a very long one as well, it started by going to the Blogger's Night Out (it was mostly during the day) in The Betsy Hotel, then having lunch/dinner with Annie and Casey at BLT downstairs (so nice to have had some downtime with these ladies, we bonded!), then headed over to The Raleigh for the shows. It felt like a never-ending Bikram Yoga class through Miami Swim Week, most of us were sweating our behinds off and it wasn't pretty. This right here is what I wore my second day, I fell in love with this crochet skirt I picked up at the Zara semi-annual sale...which is still going on by the way so check it out here.
