Ruffled Denim

18 June, 2015

It's crazy how time can move so fast, concept of time for me has changed so much as an adult and I have to say, I have never felt more lost with time. What seemed like yesterday, in reality it was two months ago or worst a year ago. Life is for me is moving so quickly, I am having a difficult time adjusting to it, not in a negative way, more in the sense of organizing things better, like the blog. It's been hard lately to post as frequently as I would like to, because so many things are happening simultaneous, which creates distraction and I can easily get distracted. Hoping that I can get a better grip of things so that I can be more frequent here. Is this something that you go through? please tell me I am not the only one?

Sky Blue

17 July, 2014

As of late, I have been craving looser fitting jeans, and the more I buy the more I want. It can be a good and a bad thing, you see when you wear looser clothes the desire to wear more fitting close becomes something of the past and no longer as much on the forefront of your daily life. When I was younger, all I wanted was form fitting clothing, as tight as it could be but as I get older my perspective on clothing is shifting and I find myself gravitating to the more comfortable yet cool pieces. Do not get me wrong, I still like my skinnies and straight leg jeans and pants, especially when you want a night out in the town. Nothing makes me feel sexier than tight jeans, pants or skirts, although on occasion I take my boyfriend jeans out at night too, they deserve a little fun. Also, obsessing over my new clutch that reminds me of the sky, it actually makes me feel relaxed when I look at the colors, crazy how colors can evoke emotions, ain't it?

What do you prefer Boyfriend or Skinny Jeans?

Pink Easy, Rocking The Coat I'm Breezy

What I Wore #wiw on my road trip to Strasbourg, France. Behind me are the walls of the Cathedral Notre Dame De Strasbourg, a stunning centuries old church that takes you back in time. The day we decided to go to Strasbourg, it was very cold, although we've had a mild winter. This coat is one of my favorite new purchases, because it keeps me warm and the color can pretty much go with anything.

P.s. Did you catch my title reference?

nature is what I seek when I want to get away, when I just want to feel one with the world. Do you ever have moments where you just want to melt into everything? to go unnoticed? I feel like that from time to time and I take it as a form of spiritual cleansing, getting rid of all emotional baggage or negative energies. Luckily in Miami I can always find nature in every corner, whether I want the sounds of the ocean or the rustling of trees it's all in my hands and I feel very lucky to have it.

What I Wore Day 2

26 July, 2012

Top: Express (old)// Necklaces: Vintage (etsy)// Bag: BCBG// Skirt: Zara// Shoes: Boutique 9

my second day was a very long one as well, it started by going to the Blogger's Night Out (it was mostly during the day) in The Betsy Hotel, then having lunch/dinner with Annie and Casey at BLT downstairs (so nice to have had some downtime with these ladies, we bonded!), then headed over to The Raleigh for the shows. It felt like a never-ending Bikram Yoga class through Miami Swim Week, most of us were sweating our behinds off and it wasn't pretty. This right here is what I wore my second day, I fell in love with this crochet skirt I picked up at the Zara semi-annual sale...which is still going on by the way so check it out here.
